Let's change the discussion to ride cymbals:
I've been planning on adding a second ride to my setup for
quite some time, but there are so damn many choices!
(at high prices)...
I am currently using a ride I'd had since I was a rocker:
It's a Zildjian "IMPULSE" (out of production-Zildjian's answer
to the PAISTE RUDE back in the mid 80's)
This ride is small and thick (18"). Cuts like a mutha.
What I need is something to compliment it, something warmer and
lighter, but I don't want to get too whimpy....
Comments?
Also..anybody using one of those WUHAN cymbals? Small, trashy
china type cymabls. They're prety cheaply priced.
