5328.0. "Amiga 500 video specification needed!" by SNOC02::GONZALEZTONY () Wed Jan 08 1992 00:40

    I've recently aquired an A520 modulator which I want to modify to use
    on another computer.

    Could anybody help with the Amiga 500 video pinout details so I can
    work ot what interface requirement exists?

    Thanks and regards.

5328.1What's Pin 15 for????SNOC02::GONZALEZTONYThu Jan 09 1992 07:4123
    I have checked the notes file and the circuit board of the A520
    modulator and have come up with the following pin assignments.

    Pin  	Description

    3		Red
    4		Green
    5		Blue
    10		Composite Sync
    15		?? goes to 7474 Flip Flop on A520
    16-20	Ground
    22		+12 Volts
    23		+ 5 Volts

    Can anybody help with details on Voltage Specifications on pin 3,4.5,10
    and what's pin 15 for???? Looks like some control signal for the
    oscillator circuit on the A520 (from quick checkout of circuit).

    I'm trying to connect the modulator to an IBM PC with CGA graphics.

    Regards
    Tony
