5300.0. "Who needs SCSI !" by BAHTAT::WORRALL () Tue Dec 24 1991 05:52

    In December 91's Amiga CU an artical appeared in the news section
    describing the Cumana COM 201 Ram-hardisk interface. It comprises a
    half meg memory plus clock and an ST506 interface !, it seems its on
    offer at 49.95 (previously 145.00 pounds)

    A	Does anyone know where in the UK one of these bargins can be picked up !.

    B Will it run on a 500 plus

5300.1OF COURSE IT SHOULD WORK!SUBURB::HAWKESMTue Dec 24 1991 06:4810
    I cannot answer your first question. But It should work on the new
    Amiga 500+. Everyone seems to be giving this new Amiga+ so much stick,
    just because of the software incompatability problem. I personally
    think its great. All peripherals that worked on the old Amiga 1.3
    should work with the Amiga+.

    Also I've just bought Populous 2...
    What a stunning game !!!

    Thanks for your reply, the reason I ask about peripheral compatability
    is that the new is the 500+, I understand has a different pin allocation
    within the trap door. any views.....?
