I'm looking for ProWrite like the Amiga has for MS DOS and Windows/3. I have a notebook PC now - I gave up waiting for something Amiga-like - and want to keep using the same word processor I have on my "main" system. I know there's a ProWrite for the PC, but its by a different company and doesn't look-and-feel the same. Any ideas? BobW

The publishers of the Amiga ProWrite (New Horizons) do not produce an MS-DOS or Windows version for PCs. The closest thing to Amiga ProWrite is Microsoft Word for Windows. In order to get any kind of decent response from Windows, you'll need at least a 16-20 MHz 386sx type laptop and 2-4 MB of ram. I hope you didn't buy a 286 - it will work, but poorly. Ed. | |||||
