Hi I use two ethernet cards (Hydra Systems) to connect my Amiga 2000 and my Amiga 3000. I can share files, devices and printers using the AMIGANET System Software. This works fine with WB1.3, but with WB2.0 the system hangs! :-( And I had problems copying DMS files (dms test failed!). Are there any other ethernet users out there? Hydra card owners? Does anybody have any suggestions, docu, ...? (I have the AMIGANET USER MANUAL, REV 1.4 JAN '90) What about SANA (Standard Amiga Network Architecture)? Thanks for your help Olivier

Olivier, I've got two 2065 Commode-o-dore ethernet cards. I'm using TCP/IP to connect 2 A2000s and an A3000. Under 1.3 everything worked fine, under 2.04 I'm having some trouble. When there are no entiries in my fstab file, and I do an rcp request from the A3000 to the A2000, the A2000 hangs or GURUs. Any entry in the fstab, even an illeagal one will allow the system to run. I'm not suggesting that your problem is a bad fstab, I'm suggesting (since I shouldn't be looking at fstab either in my configuration), that something strange is going on with the Commodore library. I'm not using ARCNET so I'm not sure quite what you should do from either. Just additional information. Keep trying things, you may find a solution. Clark |
