5277.1 | Amiga Computing Has Cure! | YOUWOT::LOCKM | | Tue Dec 17 1991 04:23 | 8 |
| Try Reading Januarys Amiga Computing. It has an article about the
virus, It also recomends a cure for it. Sorry I can`t remember the name
of it at the moment but I know that they are giving free copies of the
virus killer away if you send off for it.
Good luck!

5277.2 | What killer didn't work? | FORTY2::CADWALLADER | Not mine... not yours... | Tue Dec 17 1991 04:59 | 7 |
| Hi,
What killer did you have? I have just one and am wondering if it
works or not - it has never seemed to find anything. It's called
Nuke or "Nuke Saddam"...

| well,
The killer that i mentioned was the VIRUS CHECKER you can't find him in
the Cover Disk of November's Amiga Computing.
The problem that i've mentioned happens every time because the Virus
Checker scans every machine code files looking for ascii text, and when
it find's one he give us 3 chances 1-Remove 2-Display 3-Ignore
if we do 1 without displayed him first we might been del something that
is not a virus.
Thanks Jim,
Nuno

I was messing around with BootX last night, it seems to know
the saddam virus, though I don't know how well it handles it since I
don't have the virus.....
well.... there is a possibility that I have the virus, BootX
only claims to detect it, but doesn't, etc.... (-: (-:
