Now that the new A500 Plus is about and all the plans for the future
are to make all titles compatible with this new machine,has anyone seen
any of the dual chip boards which were promised to enable you to switch
between WB's.If anyone knows anything about these boards and the chips
(ie.price ,availability etc )can they please let me know,

A friend of mine has the Multistart A500 from DKB. He has v1.3 and
v2.04 ROMs installed. It allows you to software switch between ROMs -
I cannot remember how he did it but I think he booted up from floppy
initially and, depending on the ROMs selected, finished the boot from
either a 2.0 or 1.3 hard drive partition. I think the Multistart works
with A500 motherboards Rev. 5 or lower and most A2000s. There is one
for the A1000 also. Magazine prices are around $72.00US to $79.95US.
I do not know what an A500+ is so do not know if it will function with
the Multistart.
