Perhaps this should be in the Distant Suns topic but here goes.... There is a sky simulater/tracker/locater etc available for the mac called Voyager. It is manaufactured in CA by Carina S/W. I am hearing rumors that it is now available for the AMI. Has anyone got any info re this? Price? Whats it like (my info is second hand). Regards Stan Gifford.

It was being demo'd at the AmiExpo in Oakland. The feature set is comparable to Distant Suns, with some features missing and some extras added. At least, that was my impresion after a quick lock and a short chat with the authers. The first thing that struck me was that it was *fast*. Noticably faster than DS. The second thing was that there was no way to save animations, or control it from another application (i.e. - no Rexx port). List price is around $125. There's an add in a recent AmigaWorld for it. <mike | |||||

Thanx very much for the info. The fast bit interests both me and my A1000. (Poor baby - it gets tired so easy). Stan. |
