and for the sut/paste with mouse, SNAP at

I couldn't find it at the above location, or on EOT:: Could
you provide another pointer, or upload it please?
Thanks,

Yup, looks like the stuff on DFS (aka WJG) has finally gotten the Axe!
It's all gone...
I have cb11.lzh at home, I'll upload it this weekend...

5135.5 | CB Color registers | PAMSRC::REBOO::BARRETT | Another face in a red jumpsuit | Fri Nov 08 1991 11:02 | 5 |
| I use CB, and it works GREAT! I only have one complaint about it - the
color scheme it uses under 2.04 causes the scrollbar to appear in the
same color as text (black on my system), rather than in the color of the window.
Anyone find a way to make this more presentable? It's the only thing
destroying the nice 2.04 color/3d look.

That's X-11, right ? from gfx base, I think.
and then there's TSSnet from some other people that usually
share the same adverisement with them, but then you might as well
just use a VaxStation 2000.

| Sure the X11/DECnet software isn't cheap, but it's probably cheaper than
even a used VS2000. A stock Amiga seems to even outperform the VS for
X11 purposes. A 020/030 is MUCH faster.
How would you run all those great applications/demos/games on the
VAXstation? Then again the Amiga can't run VMS...
:^) :^) :^)

Steve,
Perhaps you did not hear about the announcements we made recently...
A VAXstation now can purchased for about the price of an amiga
3000-25/100. It is also about twice the compute speed. Then again it
must run VMS or Ultrix.
Not just the price of the software for an amiga, but the overall
price is, I think, less. Curious.

5135.10 | New VAXstations/DECstations are cheap but diskless | NITMOI::WITHERS | Another Hallmark Moment. -Al Bundy | Tue Nov 12 1991 15:25 | 7 |
| Just a note on the cost of new VAXes...most of those prices
are (I think) diskless so you have to addon disk drives
which aren't cheap from us. Of course the SCSI and Enet are
builtin and there is always 3rd party for disks.
