One of my works will be on display in the Transportation Building
in Boston from October 22 to November 16 in glass cases in the lobby
towards the west I think. It's called "Benoit's Mask" and will
join 11 other works on the theme of masks.
Originally, the Artist's Foundation had planned a third annual
Halloween party fund-raiser and show in its Artist's Foundation
Gallery, but funding left at the last minute, so the solicited
donations for the mask show will be shown at the Transportation
Bldg, in the theatre district a block or so from the
Wang center. I think. is it? The works will be on sale for $200
to support the Foundation.
My work "Benoit's Mask" is a Mandelbrot graph, folded over to make
a symmetrical face, and photographed off a computer screen.
I havn't seen it, it was sent direct from Subtractive Technology's
lab. It is the first work I have ever had shown in public.
My finalist award in 89 was for performance art story telling.
