I unpacked FF528 last night. The one with AmiOmega on it. It's a conversion of Omega on Unix/VMS to run on the Amiga. It's been done before but the result was crappy. This time it's a complete rewrite and it looks to be good. Omega is an ultima/Moria kind of game with quests, adventures etc. It's really good. But it doesn't seem to work on my machine :-( It boots up as far as my character at the city gates then gurus whatever I try to do beyond that point. Anyone had any luck with this ? Jamie.

I had the same problem. Gurus all over the place. I got rid of any reference to using ram in omegacnf. (ie:#levelpath=ram:) Since then I haven't had a problem, allthough I have only played it for a few hours. Regards and good luck. P.S. I have 3 meg of memory and have the game installed on my hard drive. Works fine lasts long time. | |||||
