    The demo disk is PD, of course Minix is not. To get hard disk working
    you will need to use the proper Minix system.

5105.2Demo is better than original!WELSWS::GILMOURMon Oct 07 1991 09:0721
    I just received a message saying that the Demo disk worked. But when
    they bought Minix the boot disk would not work?. Yes, this is true
    because its an old version which PH is shipping and thats why the
    proper boot disk is available on DFS::SYS2:[AMIGA_MINIX].

    When you have installed Minix proper. The first time it will try and
    ZAP your /usr disk 03. To prevent this leave the root disk in the
    machine and press enter. The disk will mount ok.
    Then login to root using the idiotic password!.
    type to the # prompt
    # /etc/umount /dev/dd0
    now put the /usr disk 03 in and type
    # /etc/mount /dev/dd0 /usr
    # chmem +20000 /bin/ls
    # ls -lF

    The directory is now listed the "/" means directory the "*" means
    executable.
