5063.0. "SQL on the Amiga ?" by DEFOE::JAMIE (Thunder knows all things.) Sun Sep 22 1991 11:41

    I'm looking for a database product on the Amiga that supports SQL. Does
    such a thing exist ?

    If not, what's Superbase Pro's database query language like ? Is anyone
    familiar with both who would be prepared to do a brief comparison ?

    Thanks,

    				Jamie.

There is a FreeWare SQL server, including an ARexx port available.
However this is still a sort of beta release.

I can't find it EOT::, so I'll upload it on Friday.

5063.2DML is BASIC with data base functionsSAUTER::SAUTERJohn SauterMon Sep 23 1991 09:255
    I'm familiar with Superbase's DML but not with SQL, so I can't make a
    comparison. However, DML has the sort of commands you'd expect in
    a relational data base implementation, imbedded in a more-or-less BASIC
    syntax.
