| The mountlist entry is included on the CDROM-FS diskette. Note that
all but one of the entries in the file are essentially identical. What
you have to do is copy the file from the diskette to your DEVS:
directory, change the device name of an entry to your choice (CD0:
recommended for the Hypermedia Concepts Fish Disks CDROM), and change
the SCSI unit number to what you are actually using. Then a command
like
mount CD0: from DEVS:MOUNTLIST.CDROM
should work.

4995.3 | NOT A DOS DISK | UFHIS::SMEYER | | Tue Aug 27 1991 03:34 | 38 |
| Hallo,
I have included the Mountlist from the CDROM-FS disk and made the
changes to driver : gvpscsi.device and Unit: 1
Then I mount the CD-ROM: mount TOSHIBA: from DEVS:mountlist.CDROM
The CD-ROM is recognised, but the mounted CD-ROM was "NOT A DOS DISK".
I have tried to change the Terminator (with one, with two, nothing).

CDROM-FS:

I got a new Version of the CDrom FS, and now I can Access to
my, a little bit faster, Toshiba CDrom.
There was an problem with the Toshia model I have and the driver.
Tonight I upgrade my GVPII rom software which I get yesterday.
("Another update for fixing bugs, or new features?")
Thorsten
BTW: I got the new Fish-CD from Hypermedia with 530 Fishdisks.
