| I use AmigaTeX, on a PostScript(tm) printer, specifying "landscape".
Overkill maybe, but effective.

There is a commercial program (I forget the name -- Flip-Side?) that
performs the same function as "Sideways "on other platforms.
I use ProWrite to do the same thing. ProWrite supports sideways
printing, gives EXCELLENT control over fonts, highlighting, et al, and
is quite happy to read in ASCII text files. That's MORE than a
dedicated program would do at no extra cost.

4886.4 | Yeah, let's hear it for ProWrite. | RTPSWS::ZIMMERMAN | | Sat Nov 02 1991 03:44 | 8 |
| My son had a school project in which he needed a block of text 20
inches wide for a poster. I set ProWrite to sideways print a 20x7
inch page using a 25pt Helvetica font, and it came out great. Not
as crisp as PostScript, but very acceptable. I'm printing on a Star
NX1000 color printer. I wonder whether you could print banners
using ProWrite, or labels, assuming you had the right size fonts.
