Reflections is distributed as bookware, as the distributor calls
it. I.e. It's a hardback book with the software enclosed.
The book is manual as well as an introduction to raytracing.
I cannot tell about the manual but I think it got good reviews;
the programme itself is a very good piece of software (in the new
version). There're almost no bugs, the rendering times are quite
fast, even on a standard Amiga and the userinterface is like most
of the raytracers.
But what makes Reflections a real good buy is the price. It's
around 40� (at least in germany). For another 40� or so you get
a second package in the same manner which is called Reflections
Animator. (guess what this should be :^)
I can't tell anything 'bout it, but I think it's also a good
product.
Of course Reflections isn't so powerful as SA 4D or Imagine, but
one thing I remember is, that it has texturemapping capabilities.
But what makes Reflections really interesting is its price. And
I think For A Few Dollars More ;^), you can get a special version
for '020/'030 machines.
But if you already own one of the above mentioned programs, I think
you get no added value.

at the moment I don't even know the name of the author, but
I try to figure it out who he is, and how you can contact him.
At least I have the snail-mail address/phone number of the
publisher at home, and I'll post it here so that you can contact
them and ask for the desired info.
