I just discovered perpetual motion in Falcon F-16. If you cut your engines while flying, you can continue to climb forever as long as you keep your nose pointed skyward! I think this is a bug (F-18/Interceptor won't let you do this), although some may consider this a feature. -Peter

Interceptor WILL do this. Try flying level, cut the engines, dive, then climb and check your altitude again. You just keep going up and up. Takes some practice though... Also... cut your engines at about 20K feet... then land on a runway... took me about 20 trys. | |||||

How about flying backwards?...... Using F18 cut engines at max altitude. Point the nose down. Start dropping. Then hit the minus key until you have max thrust and watch yourself gain alt with the nose down. You may ask why I do this. My answer is " its a great way to dive bomb your own airstrip. Chris |
