|  |     greg,

    I use the vr241 on my Ami 500. It's infinitely better than a TV. It
    takes a bit of fiddly soldering, but I managed and I'm by no means an
    expert with the soldering iron!

|  |     Actually, ignore the VR241 comment.  I've found the 'dead-end' note.

| | Hold on! The VR-241 IS useable on the 500/1000/2000/etc..

    I'm using one here in the office on my 3000 until I get a multisync,
    and my friend in the next office has one on his 500.

    If you need the cable info, let me know. The only pain is finding the
    23 pin connector to go into the RGB port.

| | Please do post the cable info. There are a lot of VR241's sitting
    around BHO that I can confiscate.

| | dir/title=vr241 or something like that would have saved some disk space
    on bombe.

| 4818.9 | HOW DID I DO IT | GLDOA::HILLARD |  | Tue Aug 13 1991 12:52 | 5 |
| | I FOUND THAT FINDING THE 9 PIN CONNECTOR MUCH FASTER. I USED THE
    ORIGINAL AMIGA 23 PIN TO 9 PIN CABLE, EXTENDED IT WITH A 9 PIN CABLE
    FROM (RADIO SHACK). ACTUALLY I CUT A PRE MADE 9 PIN TO 9PIN CABLE IN
    HALF AND RAN THE RGB SIGNALS INTO THE PROPER BNC CONNECTORS FOR THE
    BACK OF THE VR241. WORKED LIKE A CHARM.
