Has anyone got a RZ-24 working on their Amiga? What are it's characteristics ie blocks, sectors heads etc?? The 23 I was getting has turned into a 24 :^))) and I'm hoping to try it when I buy an interface this weekend. I've done rzdisk on it to make it spin up on power up. Anything else, or is it all plain sailing ;^) Greg

I have an RZ24 on my system with various SCSI adapters: GVP, A2091, Imtronics 030 built in SCSI port. The RZ24 has 409728 blocks. So devide that into heads, cyls, sectors like 8 heads, 1224 cyls, 41 sectors (8*1224*41 = 409728) john | |||||

The software that comes with most current SCSI controllers will read geometry information directly from the drive. You probably won't have to 'make up' any of the numbers, just use the default values... |
