Following the notes on Fatter Agnus I'm going to install it. Trouble is
I have to cut my mother board. I'm a bit nervous about this. How do I
cut it best to disconnect a jumper setting? The sharpest knife I have
is a Stanley knife.
Also to reconnecthe other 2 will a blob of solder do the trick?
Cheers,
Greg

| 4777.1 | is this for the A500? | DECWET::DAVIS | you always get what you deserve | Wed May 29 1991 12:40 | 9 |
Which procedure are you following? Is this for an A500? If it is I
used a Stanley knife to cut the lower etch from the 3 pads next to the
68000 chip. I did not want to use a solder blob to jumper the upper
pads so I just soldered a small piece of wirewrap wire between the two
then bent out pin 40(or is it 42) of Gary. Worked great. I have
printed instructions on the two ways to install AGnus for the A500 if
anyone wants them.
