Any ideas about the following?

and just added ADSPEED. In the faster mode when the
hard disk is used in any way(DIR, click on icon,...)
AMIGA freezes! In the slower mode the system seems
to work. There were some lines about problems with
Xetec and GVP but nothing about 2090A. On the other
hand maybe 2090A is so old and maybe not tested?
ICD support said it should work. Anybody has a similiar
configuration?

If you have a rev 4.something motherboard, make sure the "eco" is
installed. This "eco" is described in another note (2944). You can
even put the pull-ups on pins 11-12-13 and 14 as outlined for the 2500.
I used to get 0000000003.xxxxxxxxx gurus quite often before I added the
resistors to ALL those pins.

I was two weeks in Highfield/UK and could not quite reply.
The machine is only a month old. So I guess it is something else
than the revision problem.

Has anyone tried using the Adspeed accelerator on a 1000? How about with the Phoenix board? Or with MAST Tiny Tiger hard drives (the one that connects thru the parallel port (ie no DMA)). Any comments on possibilities for this combination are welcome. regards, Simon. | |||||
