Can an Amiuga 2000 with a 2620 board utilize the full capabilities of

Yup, it can handle the modem with no problem with that configuration. You should
be able to max out your cps rate with no worries...

I've been running that exact configuration myself, works great! I get
Zmodem transfer rates of 1600+ char/sec (sustained) in HST mode. A
Fish disk download takes less than 5 minutes...
