Has anyone out there played a game / demo called MEGATRAVELLER 1. It is
just out on the Amiga. It is a role playing game based in the future,
it seems to be sort of a cross between Dungeon Master ( role play ),
MidWinter ( Character attributes ) and Elite ( action scenes and
trading aspect ). Could someone please let me know if its worth the
scandalous ( 30 quid ) price they are asking.

There is a full review of this game in PICA::GAMES, not sure the note,
not too far back though. It a review for the PC version but it should
be similar...
I seem to remember it didn't get a great review though...

Having played this now, I feel that it was done an injustice in GAMES.
It's a really good RPG if you ever remotely like the SSI AD&D
adventures like Curse of the Azure bonds... it's far more slick,
sophisticated, complex and playable.
I'd recommend it.
