Yesterday, I ran across a cable that has 50 pins (dual row) on one end
and a D-type connector on the other for plugging in many of Digital's
SCSI interfaces. The cable was a BC56 something-or-other. Would
someone please elaborate on this cable, if possible. It looks
suspiciously like a cable that could connect Digital's SCSI devices to
my Amiga.

....mmmmm....
...I thinks it's a BC56H-03....
....this connects Decstation 3100/2100 to a SCSI device..
...connectors are 68-way female D-type and
50-way IEEE connector!
