A question: what should Digital do on its systems to make business similar to what some do on Amiga's. I.e.: - should we develop generic graphic applications ? - if yes- what applications ? - is there a similar business for Digital ? - could we find a "niche" there where we are able to compete ? - some link DECstation <--> Amiga ? - etc etc michel

What I would really like to see is, that either the existing TSSnet or an own implementation on the Amiga is officially supported. Since the Amy is being used more and more in Universities and research labs where also DECnet networks are present it would help both. And for the Amiga would it be a big step to get rid of the image as wonderful game-machine but that it can't be used for "serious" work. Helmut | |||||

Some answers might be found in the LPSTCK::MULTI_MEDIA conference. I believe you must apply to the moderator, CINDYP::PICCICUTO, for access. The question of generic applications has been debated in NODEMO::MARKETING. Wes |
