4619.0. "Fancy borders" by LEDS::SKRALY (Sam Skraly, DTN 237-6347) Sun Mar 24 1991 18:59

Is there a source for fancy borders that I can use in Pro Page? I know
it will produce simple borders, but I'm looking for fancy stuff that I
can use for things like awards. Are there any in any of the several
structured clip art packages that are available? Is there anything on
    the net?

I know there is a program called "Award Maker" or something like that,
but I need professional quality (no jaggies), and I want to be able to
add my text using the scalable compugraphic fonts found in Pro Page.

    Thanks!
    Sam

ECLIPS VOL I has boarders. I like them but thay are not the fancy ones
that you see in the award maker pakages. You may pull in the iff
boarders as bitmaps, and then add text in PPage. If you don't have to
scale the borders they should be ok. The other alternative is to
import borders(bitmap) into the Art Department. You could then
produce a nice image of the boarders. The Art department Pro will
let you save the bitmap as an EPSF. I have had good results doing
	bitmap images this way.

I am always looking for clipart for PPage. If you have a postscript
printer there are a lot of disks of eps files for other platforms
	available
