4614.0. "Music Score Uploads" by VICE::JANZEN (Don't eat the fruit of the binary tree) Thu Mar 21 1991 12:34

	Hi
	Those at the WCAUG who enjoyed the molto vivace from the Symphony
	Number 9 of Beethoven, transcribed for piano by Franz Liszt,
	but who have no copy of DMCS, can get the MIDI version with:

	$ copy midi::midi$dka100:[midilib.sequences.classical]b9vivace.smf *

	This is a standard MIDI file with 5 or 6 tracks. Track 1 is
	timing, 2 is the score, and the other are just credits text.
	It took 20 minutes at 1200 baud and UUENCODE over the phone.
	I am editing it some more, because it looks a little odd to me,
	compared to the score. this version was made by someone else.

	I am working on the rest of the symphony; last night I played in
	the last movement and am editing it with timing and quantization.
	That's the "all men are brothers" Shiller poem.
	Tom
