Hi Folks, I recently accepted a job in ZKO working in the VMS Development group (NOT transition!) My last day here in SHR will be this friday, 2/22. I will be taking the node name WJG with me, but it's address is going to change - and it's physical form. I start in VMS on 2/25 (I'm even moving to Nashua!) In any case, I guess ZKO does not allow inbound FAL access (network file copy) so I can no longer maintain the online public areas (AMIGA, X11 etc) I will try to move the stuff to another area on our cluster here but I can't guarantee the stability or availability of all this stuff... Copy what you need now! john

John, >>form. I start in VMS on 2/25 (I'm even moving to Nashua!) While WJG:: will be missed, I'm glad to hear you are moving ahead. I currently live in Nashua,and it not a bad place(watch out for speed traps). maybe when you settle in I'll run into you at System Eyes. I am in and out of there just about every day. bill

There is space on TAPE for anything you want to save. We can get together and move it over. Steve P.
4521.3 | WJG:: files on DFS:: | STAR::GUINEAU | the number 42 comes to mind | Tue Feb 26 1991 08:20 | 16 |
Hi Folks! I managed to get all the WJG Amiga stuff onto another node in that cluster. All the files previously on WJG:: are now on DFS:: (NOT the distributed file system - dfs is the initials of the owner of that node - which physically used to be WJG! My office and machine were taken by force the day I left :-) ) so, DFS::AMIGA: is the new access point. This area is world writable so feel free to put stuff there, just make sure you specify /PROT=W:R on the COPY command... john |
