| Another problem ... when I use the Epson.020 360x360 print driver,
ProPage crashes when trying to print.
I've noticed on previous releases of ProPage that new versions seem to
have a problem with templates created from previous versions. Perhaps
that is part of the problem.

| I believe I cured my problem .. whew!
Now, does anyone know if the Transpell dictionary supplied with V2.0A
can be updated? The "remember" feature apparently remembers changes
only for the current document.

| I seem to be slow. I tried the tutorial and can't get the autoboxing to
work. I have the 2 columns outlined, i select the TEXT tool, then move
the tool into the left box and hit CTRL-LMB, but nothing happens. I
did the tutorial for V1.1 a long time ago and figured it out then, but
can't now (getting slower i guess). Can someone tell me what i am
doing wrong?

| I'm using 2.0. It still has the old SAVE bug. Always use SAVE AS or you will
get corrupted files. There is another bug that happens from time to time:
Sometimes when you click on a box, it vanishes.
I also get a requester every time I boot the program asking for ENV to be
inserted in any drive. I have no idea waht causes this (Could it be because I'm
using ARP?)

doesn't appear to work with V2.0. BTW, I used NEWZAP and deleted the
SAVE menu selection.

The vanishing box has been around awhile. It is only a magic trick,
actually it is hiding behind the page. If you select to make the page
invisible you should(hopefully) see the box there. If my memory serves
me correctly this only happens when you create a page the first time,
and activate the box. I wonder if the problem would go away if you set
the page default to open with no box,and then created the box manually.
The bug that bothers me in 1.3(haven't recieved my update yet) is
when I activate the text function hit the tab bar,and my text go's
away. ENV should already be assigned to ram: I don't use arp anymore
except for it's requestor, when required. I wonder if my update will be
the same,or a newer rev when it arrives. I can't understand how the
SAVE problem could elude the bug crushers for so long. It must be a
very hardy little critter indeed.

I am using PP2.0A and ARP. I have never seen a requester to mount ENV.
My startup file does a MAKEDIR RAM:ENV and ASSIGN ENV: RAM:ENV.
I have used the SAVE, without any problem yet. But when I create a new
project, my initial save is always a SAVE AS, subsequent saves are with
the SAVE.

Living dangerously! You WILL get bitten by this, and it will probably be when
you least expect it.

I am relatively new to PPage and as a result I don't have any previous
experience with this bug. Could I get a pointer to more details as to
this bugs behavoir? Has anyone been really hit by this bug in 2.0A?

FYI -- PowerPacker will not compress PPage V2.0A. However, Implode V3.1
*will* compress PPage down to:

Not bad ...

All I know is that if you use SAVE to save a file, there is a good chance that
the save file will be corrupted, therefore unloadable. This happens randomly.
Currently, there is no way to fix the corrupted file (there used to be a fix for
version 1.3 saved files.) I have been hit by this bug in 2.0A.
As for pointers, do a DIR/TIT=PAGE.

| Another advantage to using Save as is that after you select the
filename, if it happens to be the save filename, it will prompt you for
confirmation that you really want to replace it. As a matter of course
now, after a file loads I rename it to .BAK for safe keeping.

dictionary? As best I can tell, it is now a manual operation through
the TransSpell menu.

Since I put more memory in, I've never seen the SAVE problem occur.
I've SAVE'ed thousands of times. Maybe I'm just lucky.

| With 2.0A Save As will prompt you before you overwrite an existing file, just
like Save.
