Judging from previous notes quite a number of you are using an LJ250 or LJ252 with the HP Paintjet driver. This works quite well, however, does not support the 180x180 density setting when using 8 colours or less. Would it be a difficult job to add high density support to the driver? Has anyone tried to do this? Peter

RE:4497.0 > does not support the 180x180 density setting when using 8 colours or Eh? My understanding is that it ONLY supports 180X180 mode, not the lower mode. The dithering for more colors is done in the printer driver rather than using the paintjet internal logic present for lower resolution modes. Look in the 1.3 Enhancer Manual in the printer driver section for more information. -SES | |||||
