Two questions to Pool of Radiance :
1. When I enter Sokol Keep, I'm attacked by skeletons which want to
know a word: What is that word ?
2. In front of Sokol Keep lies a skeleton which has a scroll. My
Translation wheel says something like:
LUX SAMOSUD STESTNI
What does that mean?!?!

The patrols of undead are asking for one of the words you read on
the scroll.
spoiler follows...
Your translation of the words on the scroll is almost correct...I
think the third word is SHESTNI. I have a Commodore 64, and I
do not know if the words are the same for all systems.
Another mega-spoiler....
Each word is used in a different situation. One word is used meeting
the undead patrols, another word is used when you "meet" someone
in the Keep, and you will be told the use of the third word.
