4458.0. "NorthGate OmniKey Ultra Keyboard" by DICKNS::MACDONALD (VAXELN - Realtime Software Pubs) Mon Jan 28 1991 08:54

I tried a NorthGate OmniKey Ultra keyboard yesterday. After using it
for a short time I decided I had to replace the standard keyboard that
    came with my 2000.

The OmniKey Ultra has loads of extra keys for macros, and so on. It has
a superb ALPS mechanical key system similar to an IBM selectric typewriter.
Keyclick can be turn on or off at the keyboard.

The unit comes in a metal case, heavy and very stable. NorthGate sells
this for $129. Another $15 gets you the necessary Amiga keycap set.
The NorthGate manual even has a table for the Amiga key assignments.

A keymap is also available from local BBS and PLINK, CIS, GEnie.
