4417.0. "Rodime_harddisk_question" by BAGELS::BRANNON (Dave Brannon) Tue Jan 08 1991 18:14
I have a Rodime 5000S harddisk that has decided to spin itself down
after about a half hour of use. It flashes some sort of code in the
LED, which I assume says why it did that.
Anybody have the decoder ring that says what "short, long, long, short"
translates to?
After I reboot, the pattern changes to "long, long, long, long".
After another reboot, the led goes dark, and the next reboot the
drive comes up fine.
Other than that little problem, it works fine, haven't found any
bad spots using AmigaDOS formats. And yes, I did do a low
level format.
