| Before ordering it may be worth your while to look at several entries
written in the past few months about this outfit. Most are negative
although I have never ordered from them.

| Thanks John, I did a dir/title on mail order and found the notes you
spoke of. These notes files are great, probably saved me from a grave
mistake. I did some checking here in town and found a dealer willing to
work with the price of a 2000 to the tune of $225. off his $1495.
price. I can live with $1270. even with sales tax, I feel it's a decent
deal. Thanks for reminding me of what I should of thought of from the
begining.

| re.3
The 1084s runs about $325. I am going to purchase a NEC 3D from a place
in Denver for $597. with shipping and state tax it's $632. I realize I
could probably do better with some out of state mail order house, but
not much from what I have seen in the computer mag adds. I will gladly
pay the extra $30. for the peace of mind of dealing with a store I know
and can trust.
Bill BTW I have not purchased anything yet!

| I purchased the 2000 and the NEC monitor last weekend, and have already
ordered a second floppy drive along with the PHASAR software package.
The only problem encountered so far was connecting the monitor to the
Amiga. This was quickly resolved with an adapter plug made by C.B.M.
