ProWrite uses preferences printers AND prints in color. Assuming the
HP printer driver supports color, you should be in good shape. Failing
that, PageStream 2.0 can import ProWrite documents directly and perform
assorted magic to a wide variety of printers.

In the U.S., ProWrite 3.0 comes with an English thesaurus claiming
300,000 references.

In the U.S., ProWrite includes an English dictionary and the company
offers dictionaries in at least two other languages, presumably
including French.

I'm unfamiliar with this. The Amiga character set includes a number of
international and special symbols. The SYMBOL font provides many more,
including the Greek alphabet and a number of mathematical symbols.

I've used ProWrite to import drawings from Deluxe Paint 2 without
difficulty. It would be worth your while to examine the printed output
from both ProWrite and PageStream with regard to the handling of
multi-bit-plane color drawings. ProWrite dithers the colors during
import, assuming the printer to be capable of only 8 colors.
PageStream may well handle colors with more pinache. I believe it's
capable of doing color separations, should you graduate from an LJ250
to something spiffier.
