So what are some of the changes? I placed an order, but would have to go
through tech assitance to find out what is included, and don't feel like
trying to get through.

Curious.

    I am the wrong person to ask .. BUT I believe they are providing
    support for full color displays of imported graphics, rotational
    capability for objects, and the like.

    BTW, Pagestream V2.1 is being shipped as an automatic upgrade to V2.0
    users in December. Good deal.

4288.3at dealers nowSALEM::LEIMBERGERWed Dec 26 1990 06:374
    Professional Page is now at the dealers. I guess I can order my update
    any time now. I did not open the package but it looks pretty nice. I
    plan on picking up the CGfonts package first though.

4288.4Help for ProPage v2.0EEMELI::LINDENThu Jan 03 1991 08:2814
    Could someone tell me what's wrong with my Pro Page 2.0, when I try to
    run it it first checks if there is ENV: available, after that it simply
    Guru's.... At moment I can't get it run from WB nor CLI.

    The B2000 that I'm using has 512KB Chip/512KB Fast/2MB Expansion ram...
    And I have KS1.3, could it be that I am running low with Chip ram?????

    So far I haven't checked the main programs hunk structure, but I have
    plans to do it tonight and to try fix it's hunk structure so that it
    would go straight to Fastmemory part...

    If that doesn't work I'm quite helpless on what I should do!!!!

    We are also having problems with 2.0 of ProPage. We have tried it on
    two systems with the same results. The program appears to load, then
    before the normal ppage screen appears, a Task Held requester and the
    guru. This is on an A500. I tried the program on my 2000 and it seems
    to work fine.

    The 500's configuration

4288.6The FixFSDEV2::JBERNARDJohn Bernard 292-2591 YWO/E3Thu Jan 03 1991 13:2413
    Tech support indicated a problem with some disks sent out. Once the
    system date reaches 1991, guru. Workaround is to set the system date
    back to 1990. Permanent fix is to send your original program disk in
    to Gold Disk at

    re: .4-.6

    Yes I figured also that kind of workaround for the problem, but still
    the software is full of bugs and it freezes quite often.

    Thanks for the address!!

4288.8Just a few bugs...FSDEV1::JBERNARDJohn Bernard 292-2591 YWO/E3Mon Jan 07 1991 11:0915
    There will be a patch to 2.0 in a week or two that will address the
    date bug as well as a bug in the style tags. Gold Disk is holding up
    sending out upgrades until the patches are complete.
    The style tag bug is a killer. If you are in the Type pull-down
    menu, and slip off the Color submenu onto the Tag submenu, and you
    don't have any tags defined, you'll hang, with the only recourse
    being a reboot.

    The date bug does not affect accelerated 2000's.

    I haven't had any other problems with 2.0, but it might be a good idea
    to post any bugs people have found.

    I haven't received my upgrade yet, although I ordered it a couple
    months ago.
