4286.0. "Clip Art" by LEDS::SKRALY (Sam Skraly, DTN 237-6347) Mon Nov 19 1990 10:36

I'm looking for a good assortment of clip art for my desktop publishing
needs. Ultimately, I'd need to import into Pro Page (imports Encapsulated
Postscript, Pro Draw/Aegis Draw clips, and bitmapped graphics), but I have
Aegis Draw and Deluxe Paint III to use as possible intermediaries...

	- What is available on the net? All I could find was Sixel and
Postscript files--can these be converted into something I can use?

	- Does anyone have the Pro Clip Art package available for Pro
Page? Could you give me a summary of what's included?

	- Does anyone have Pro Draw? Does it come with any clip art?

	- Are there any other programs available which include
clip art that I might be able to import? Any other compatible
clip art packages?

	- Any clip art collections on any of the on-line services
(Genie, Plink, etc.)?

	- Will Pro Page import any other formats that I haven't listed?

	- How else are people using clip art?

Thanks!
Sam

There are several clipart packages for Pdraw, and PPage.
I have Eclips, and the Clipart offered by gold disk. Eclips contains
some pretty usefull stuff for fliers etc. It is all black, and white.
The package from Gold Disk has colored clipart, and has items that
could be used for birthday, xmas cards etc. I find both usefull but
lacking many of the things i want. However when I bought Eclips I was
offerd the option of buying a map disk for $10.00. I like this disk
very much. Another option I take advantage of is using Pixel 3D to
convert bitmaps to turbo silver format. At that point I use InterFont
to convert them to Pro Draw clips. This is very good for logo's etc.
As of late I see some packages available for $30.00. these are ok but
you actually get a few real nice clips, the rest are ok for the price.
(about 17 clips in all) I don't have any but will get the name for you.
