4271.0. "Monitor Info Request " by WELSWS::FINNIS () Wed Nov 14 1990 09:33
Hi,
A friend has just bought the following monitor.
The Moniterm model no is CD1924-31GD.
It is originally for the Mac II , but he wishes to use it on
his Amiga 3000 .
Any details or help would be appreciated .
He say's that he gets a super firm picture at 31.5khz - BUT it appears to be
expecting a faster rate because the scan lines wrap around.
It appears to be clever enough to split the lines without horiz sync
at the edge of the screen, and again half way across when it finds
a horiz sync.
There are 2 sets of dip switches (8 in each bank). One is on the
main circuit board, one is on a circuit board on the side of the case.
Both seem to affect the sync, but the annotations on the board don't
tell me much more than that.
There are 3 baords in all, mostly full of TTL. The one on the back
of the case deals with balancing the colour signals.
Thanks
-Pete-
