    No, the title isn't a typo.  Back in note 4019.0 was the announcement
    of SAS C v5.10.  Here's the relevant section.
    
       "The suggested price of the complete SAS/C Compiler package is $300.00.
   Registered users of version 5 of Lattice C may upgrade to version 5.10
   for $40.00.  Registered customers with versions earlier than 5.0 or
   current Aztec C Customers can upgrade as well.  Contact SAS for more info."

    I wrote off for details and got this priceless reply nearly three
    months later.  Sorry for the length, but the mistakes in the letter are
    really strange.

    "I received your inquiry in reference to our trade in for the Aztec MA C
    (TM) Compiler to the SAS/C (R) Development System for AmigaDOS (TM). 
    If you have the Version 5 or later of the Aztec MA C Compiler, you can
    receive 5.10 of our product for a 60% discount.  If you have the 3.06
    or earlier version, you can receive a 50% discount.
    
    "If you are interested in this trade in, send us your complete Aztec MA
    C Compiler product.  When we receive this, we can then invoice and ship
    the SAS C Development System for AmigaDOS."

    Umm, translated to English, I would guess that means that if you pack
    up all the disks and manuals for your Manx Aztec C compiler, then send
    them to North Carolina, you get the latest version of SAS C for $150
    (Manx v3.6 or earlier) or even $120 (v5.0 or later).  This isn't much
    higher than SAS charges to upgrade from older versions of Lattice C
    (see note 4035.12).
