My fault ... I have started to move files out of [upload] and
into [amiga...]. I have been trying to some kind of logical directory
structure. The Fish list is in [amiga.fish]

4263.2 | Can anyone help me find the catelogue? | SHALOT::DAVIS | Quality Comes First | Thu Mar 21 1991 09:11 | 7 |
| I tried to find the Fish Catelogue on TAPE::USER2:[AMIGA.FISH] and so
on but cannot find it anywhere. I really want the .PS version. Can
anyone point me to the right direction.
Thanks,

| Yo Jill- you may have missed it, but the Amiga disks were rearranged a little
while back. The root directory of the "main" Amiga tree is now
TAPE::AMIGA:[AMIGA]. The .PS versions of the Fish catalogues are in that
directory.
Cheers,

Far be it for me to suggest to anyone with a "Quality" moto
that they might prefer something other than what they asked for,
but... (-:, (-:
You might like the Aquarium better, I do.
Somewhere else there's a note that says the fish have gone to
TAPE::AMIGA:[AMIGA. 'somewhere']
try
$ DIR TAPE::AMIGA:[AMIGA.*]
for clues.

| Unfortunately, the latest version in the directory is only a partial
catalogue, and fails part way through when printing on an LPS40.
Could you delete this version.
Directory 19202::AMIGA:[UPLOAD]
FF_CAT_V2.PS;10 320 15-MAR-1991 16:32:14.00

4263.7 | Ok now I think. | STAR::ROBINSON | | Thu Apr 04 1991 15:16 | 8 |
| I don't know what happened but I deleted the short version
and the old version. You should be OK now.
Curiously, my directory command showed the same file sizes
etc as 4263.6 but when I deleted it the deleted blocks for
the "short" file was the large number, 1544 instead of
what the directory command showed (320 blocks)!

4263.8 | DIR/SIZE=ALL would show both sizes | BOMBE::MOORE | Amiga: Where 'multimedia' REALLY began | Thu Apr 04 1991 17:50 | 5 |
| That's normal. It simply means that enough blocks were allocated to
receive the entire file, but only the first 320 blocks actually got
there. When the copy spooler (FTSV) is used, it always operates this
way. It allocates space for all files first, then works on filling
in the data.
