	Hi,
	     I've just purchaced an Amiga 500. Please can someone help a
	beginner or point me in the right direction.
 		Atari owners who work in the area can transfer PD software
	to RX23's and take the diskette away for use on their Atari at home.
	Can I do the same for the Amiga? 
		I've had trouble with the disk format and also reading the
	files on the Amiga.

        	The method used by the Atari owners is :-

	1. Format the Diskette on Decstation 200 :-

		C:\> Format a:/t:80/n:9

	2. Use PcDisk on workstation with RX23 to copy files to Diskette :-

	        $ run sys$system:pcdisk
		pcdisk> use a: dua2:           - use RX23 dua2
		A:\> import fred.exe           - import various files.
