4203.0. "Request for NAKAMOTO (Any PLINKers)" by NOBHIL::BODINE_CH () Mon Oct 15 1990 20:42

Several years ago when I bought my first Amiga 1000 my wife was upset by the
fact that I was retiring my C64. Not because she particularly liked that
computer either but because her all time favorite game ran on the C64 -
JUMPMAN.

Well, I was reading the lates Amiga World and they rated the top 10 PD games of
the year. Among them was a JUMPMAN clone by the name of NAKAMOTO.

They indicated that the file was on PLINK. I don't have access to PLINK but I
promised my wife that I would make a plea here for someone who does have access
or who already has this archive to please upload it to the network.

I don't remember what the file number was and I don't even remember whether it
was a .ARC, .LZH or .ZOO, but I would really appreciate it if somebody would
upload this for me (uhm... I mean my wife ;) ).

Thanks for any help,
Chris

I'm not a PLINK subscriber, but I pulled this off of Steve Tibbett's
BBS a while back. It was named as JUMPMAN.ZOO so I left it as such, but
    from the ReadMe!:

    To run type:

1> Nakamoto

You can edit screens by typing:

1> NakaEd nakagame

Your stack must be set [to] at least 8000. This game is like Jumpman.
The default key controls are the cursor controls and the space bar. Enjoy.

JUMPMAN was one of my favorite Atari 800 games. Hope it's a good
clone. The closest game to it I've seen so far was King of Prussia.

    I'll check it out also.
