4185.0. "New a500 mem expantion" by BRSRHM::PRIEUS () Tue Oct 09 1990 13:42
Dears,
Recently, I bought an AMIGA 500 and would upgrade his mem. capacity.
There are many different options available but I think its interesting
to have the clock + battery, therefore the A501 should be sufficient
to begin with (even if I will buy a Hard disk with mem sockets).
There is now a new version of this module available, the CA100.
The mean difference are the DRAMS. These are the latest low consuption
1 MBIT chips ' I think ' with a low power consumption.
MY question is now: witch one should I buy, the old or the new one,
even if the price is +/- the double ??
Best regards from Belgium,
Bert

| 'm Sorry,
Its not a AC100 but the correct name should be AMC100, containing
a clock + battery and 4 1MBIT D-RAMS.
