4157.0. "Identify old Corvus Drives ?" by AMIGA2::MCGHIE (Thank Heaven for small Murphys !) Thu Sep 27 1990 22:10
Hi Guys,
I happen to be in a position of being able to grab some old Corvus gear. In
amongst it are 4 20MB corvus drives, some network controllers & network utility
server. there is an apple II & Rainbow network controllers.
I've still got my old Apple II+ at home. Normally packed up, however the idea of
hanging some hard disk off it has appeal. The only problem is at the moment I'm
lacking the Apple II software, but have got some enquiries out on that.
The other thought is to re-use the hard drives on the Amiga, hence my question.
Taking the lid of the corvus the drive is a 5" form factor, manufactured by
IMI (International Memories Inc) and is labelled Model: 5018H.
Can anyone tell me if this is a ST-506 compatible drive ?
At the very least I can use the disk boxes as housing for external ST506 drives,
i.e. nice power etc.
Thanks
Mike
