I'm considering upgrading my A2000 harddrive/controller setup to 100meg SCSI and 2meg memory, and wondered what the general opinion was as to which drives were the best (and which were poor), and which did/didn't support memory. Here's the list: GVP Impact II Xetec Fastcard Plus Trumpcard Trumpcard Professional Supra Wordsync 2091 And some I'm not familiar with: Kronos Advantage All views will be considered opinions of the author and not of Digital. :-)

Some personal notes on the above equipment. Trump (IVS) stuff is nice and the 2091 (and especially the associated software) is really wonderful. I have no complaints at all with either. I am using a conner 200 and a quantum 100 MB drive off the 2091. A quantum 40 and a quantum 80 off of the trump. Work fine--last a long time. TOPGUN |
