I'm lookng for some info on a Phoenix CPS-500 power supply. That's a heavy duty A500 supply (+12, -12, +5). I was wondering if anyone has a schematic for this beast. I've got one with a transient surpressor across the output of the 5V supply to badly burnt to completely identify. What's left of it indicates it's a P6KE???. The supply is ok except for the supressor and I'm simply looking to identify the rest of the part number. Thanks, Frank

I've got two of them. I'll check to see what the part number is. If you need a replacement try a Micro Science power supply. The Phoenix supplys don't work very well for a variety of reasons, one of which is that the supply can't handle the meager current draw of the A500 (coil is too small). TOPGUN |
