Hi! Is anyone familiar with KICKIT v2.0???? I've tried on the weekend put with KICKFILE the KS1.4a & KS2.0 to an file so I could load it to RAM with KICKIT. So far the KICKFILE is the only program that seems to be working, the KICKIT when trying to load the KS file report that the file is not correctly formatted.... Manual says that it is good for A500/A2000 machines for loading KS files to RAM.... The program has been done by Bryce Nesbit. If anyone has more detailed info about this kind of thing, please let me know!!! Regards, Kari

If there is a MMU in your system you can try the KICKFILE-option of SetCPU 1.6. I've never tried KICKIT because SetCPU worked fine for me. Michael | |||||

Nope, I don't have MMU in my B2000. So that's the why I try to get the KICKIT working, I've got the WB1.4alpha version and it uses KICKIT v1.0 and works well... The main problem is with the KICKFILE which should make an KICSTART file out of KICKSTART disk, so that the KICKIT can loadit to memory and boot the system with new KICKSTART. So if anyone has done it, could that person help me to use the KICKFILE correctly!!!!! -Kari- |
