I have recently acquired a shareware game called 'Star-Trek The Game' which at first impressions seems pretty good, so I though of sharing it with everyone. However I want to know how I could pack the two discs down and then put them on some VMS system somewhere. I think I know how to do it, but my problem is the disk's are bootable, so if I insert them when I'm booted under AmigaOS, then they come up as bad disk. ie I think this means it has it's own non-standard boot-block. What do I need to do to compress them?? Many thanks, GREG

Well, first off, I think this disk is already up here somewhere, so there I don't think there is a need to upload it. And secondly, you need a 'warping' program which compresses the entire disk track by track. Use either warp or lhwarp. Warp is faster, lhwarp makes smaller files. Take your pick. Steve |
