Hello,
About five months ago I purchased the role/action playing game
called DRAKKHEN. Now right after I purchased this game I also bought
Champions of Krynn (which I delved into first). Now I had been just
ready to enter the DRAKKHEN world, but it always created a CHARACTERS
disk that caused a GURU MEDITATION; weeeeee :( Anyway, the nice folks
at SYSTEM EYES gave me a new set of program disks :), but they also
failed :(
I'm sure it isn't a computer (mine) failure, since they tried the
program out on their computers at the store. So, here are two
possibilities and I'd like your oppinions on them.
1)Game can be run with only 512K, but I have 1meg. Might the extra
memory affect the software?
2)The version of the software wasn't free of bugs (v1.1)???
Any help, other owners of DRAKKHEN, etc. would be appreciated.

You didn't mention which processor you were using. Drakkhen fails on
anything other than a vanilla 68000. I have to boot my A2500 in 68K
mode to get the thing to work.
Anyone who still codes in this fashion should be killed over a period
of four or five days.

Here's an update for anyone, in the future, who'll have the same
problems as I've listed here. The answer, to making the program work
properly, is to disconnect additional disk drives (they can't be used
in the game anyway so its no big deal). Also, after the initial
problem was fixed another, minor misunderstanding was evident, popped
up. Just remember to keep replacing the requested disks
(characters/DRAKKHEN 2) until the information screen says to power
off/on the computer and load DRAKKHEN 1. See ya. :)
