I helped a friend of mine to upgrade to an A500 from a C128 and 64 enviroment. He has about 5 1581s and he'd like to know if there is any modification he can do on these units to make them Amiga Compatible. Thanks Ed

Surely you jest! He may be able to cannibalize them for their drives, but that's about it. Of course, he could still daisy-chain four of them off the GO-64 [Amiga parallel port to C=64/128-compatible serial port] interface so he could read/write data in Commodore format. | |||||
